2010, the Cover 3 Foundation implemented a Kid's Meals and Snack Program. This program exists to provide nutritious snacks and meals to ALL (boys and girls) children in afterschool programs, summer feeding sites and while school is out during the year throughout Southampton County, Greensville County, Sussex County, Hampton Roads, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Suffolk, Emporia and the City of Franklin.
The Cover 3 Foundation understands the need for good nutrition as it is essential to full physical and cognitive development. Combining free, healthy snacks with educational development is a recipe for success. Our foundation is committed to providing this service to any local afterschool program or summer site that meets the established guidelines and requirements of the program.
In 2013, Cover 3 W.I.N. Program will be a part of C3's Kid's Meals at each site. .
This program is free of charge to the center, participating organization and to the children. If you are interested in this program and would like to enroll your center or after school program, please contact 757-562-2252 for more information about the application process.
