What are People Saying about The Cover 3 Foundation and Greg Scott?

“This is the second experience for my two sons with Cover 3 Football and I couldn’t be happier. It is so nice to have your kids where they are surrounded by good role models.  The camp was educational, and motivational. I especially like that they have professional and experienced staff members. The coaches are grounded with life experience so they are not just teaching them about football, but football within the framework of what it takes to be successful with anything. Whether my child wants to take football to another level or not, he has learned a great deal about what he needs to know to be successful in any sport or education or career goal. The coaches have high expectations that the kids take seriously and respect the coaches. They are disciplined and command a natural respect from the children and the children respond. Even my 6 year old falls in line!  My kids want to come back and I would recommend it to anyone.” – Laura Bragg, Virginia Beach VA

“I would recommend this camp and the Cover 3 Football Program to everyone. The coaching staff was awesome and very motivating. My son came in with little knowledge, but went away with tools to get better and improve. It is obvious that Greg Scott and his staff cares about the kids. He gave them words like "discipline" to look up and define as homework and really stressed the importance of committing and working hard to achieve goals. My son had a blast.”- Erika Frick, (Parent) Fredericksburg VA

"I highly recommend Greg Scott’s program. I coached Greg in football and basketball at Southampton High School. Greg’s incredible work habit and commitment to excellence is second to none. I have coached 3 sports a year for 20 years and would be hard pressed to find anyone I would endorse more than Greg. He has always conducted himself with dignity and respect and serves as a tremendous role model in his community. I can not think of anyone I would rather have working with our athletes here at King’s Fork High School than Greg. We definitely will use him here in our programs again."

- Coach Randy Jessee Athletic Director, King’s Fork High School

"It was a pleasure to coach Greg Scott. However, it was an even greater pleasure to have Greg on my staff and assist with the Defensive Line, Scout Teams and a number of other areas. Greg's biggest asset was his willingness to do whatever task that was asked. He’s energetic, passionate and a great teacher. I’m very optimistic that Greg will have a successful career in coaching or any other area where kids are involved.” - Coach Donovan Rose, Head Football Coach, Hampton University

"On Wednesday, November 18, 2009 the students at Capron Elementary had Career Day . While there were many professions represented the greatest buzz on that day and days to follow was the session led by Mr. Greg Scott. Mr. Scott provided words of wisdom and motivation in such an entertaining manner, students did not even realize they were receiving life lessons. His message contained key words that would be instrumental in being success in whatever job one pursued. Mr. Scott adjusted his words to the age level of the students to which he was speaking. The transition was almost automatic as he, within a matter of seconds went from effectively engaging with five year olds to gingerly mesmerizing ten year olds. While his physical person towered over the students, he was in no way intimidating to them. He presented a calming and inviting demeanor that really enhanced his words of inspiration. As I watched him, I thought to myself what a great teacher he would make." - Sandra A. F. Pettigrew, Retired Educator

“In 2009 I had the pleasure of working with Coach Greg Scott. I would just like to let you know that he has a passion for teaching and learning the game of football second to none. In the short time that we work together he took great pride in learning the X’s and O’s of our defense and teaching our players. The thing that stood out was the basic fundamentals and technique that he not only taught our players but me as well. Greg Scott is the kind of coach that will not only show your child how to play football but also teach them the ins and outs of the game”.- Bernard Clark Jr., Hampton University.

"On November 19th, 2010 Greg Scott visited our 5th graders to do a motivational speech. The students were thrilled to get the opportunity to meet a former NFL player. I should add, not only the students, but the teachers as well. He was also very patient with the autograph requests. His speech was very inspiring and age appropriate. The students were interested throughout, and intensely listening to his every word. Greg is very down to earth and passionate about his message. His speech is a 'must hear' for all youth."
- Tammie Parrot, Belfield Elementary, Emporia VA

"Greg displays a remarkable connection with today's youth.  Speaking to students about his life and the path he followed is a story they want to hear.  His energy has carried over from the football field to the audience he addresses. Greg uses his physical prowess to engage an often lackadaisical teenage listener to hear his message of hard work, manners, and determination often take you places of dreams. He is the proof.  Greg spoke of his dreams and living them. He talked about his family and how he was raised in a small community by loving, hard working parents. Greg spoke about people who told him he would never be a pro football player and how he used that as motivation to work harder. He also acknowledged the people who helped him along the way. A man who has many opportunities comes back to work with youth. What more could we want? We are all in this together and that is Greg's message" - Kira Lowe, King's Fork High School, Suffolk, VA
