The Young Philanthropist Program was designed to give high school and college students the opportunity to work with Cover 3 Foundation’s many community outreach programs.
Students apply and are accepted into the program three times per year in May, October and February.
Philanthropists donate 40% of their work hours back to the organization. In other words, if a Philanthropist works 5 days per week, they volunteer 2 of those.
In addition to volunteering service to their community, The Young Philanthropist Program gives the students an opportunity to receive mentoring, life skills lessons, and job training from the Cover 3 Foundation staff.
"Cover 3 Foundation was founded in 2009 after I finished my collegiate coaching career. Having achieved my goal of playing in the National Football League, I wanted to come back to my community and help children achieve their dreams, provide
assistance in their paths, and support their environments. The Young Philanthropist Program is a great way for me to make a direct impact on the children of my community.", Greg Scott, Founder and CEO.
